Crawford Creek Tributary
Culvert Under Access Road
Completed in 2000
Issue:
The two culverts under the access road are downstream from where the earthen bridge had collapsed. During the substantial seasonal flows the culverts would become clogged and force water over the dirt roadway delivering additional sediment into the system. Once the blockage is removed, water will flow with greater velocity and projection as nature had intended
Plan:
Remove all the black berry vines, limbs, and sediment from culverts. Place rock diversions along the head of the culverts and bank edges, while maintaining the flow through the culverts and improving sedimentation delivery problems.
